Indore has always been a land of cricket fanatics but when there is a Cricket match against Pakistan then the fervor increases manifold. But more than the match, Indoreans always look forward to the post-victory celebration. And, as soon as Indian team won against Pakistan team, Indore rushed towards Rajwada to celebrate it. Indoreans thronged the streets near Rajwada with people singing songs, dancing on Dhols and DJ systems etc.
Not only this, drenched with patriotism, Indoreans made sure that they don’t forget the national flag at home during the celebration. Indoreans not only waved the tricolor but also played patriotic songs along with slogans like “Bharat Mata ki Jai” for the country to celebrate the success of Indian team. Apart from Rajwada, Indoreans were seen celebrating at Sarafa, 56 Dukaan, Vijay Nagar Square etc. Even the street food shops of Indore were open till late to satiate the taste buds of Indoreans who were returning back from the celebration. Talking about the celebration, Piyush Bhandari, a real estate businessman, says, “Going to Rajwada after India wins any match against Pakistan has always been a tradition in Indore. And frankly speaking, every Indori looks forward to it because the celebration is mesmerizing. The added cherry on the top is the tasty treat which you get after it at the food shops. The Poha, Samose and Tea etc. become more delicious after such a celebration.”
